Eco-Craft

Vi handler med Eco-Craft fra England, fordi de tilbyder bæredygtig indpakning i genbrugsmaterialer uden at gå på kompromis med udseendet. Det er en af de få virksomheder som producerer ægte cellofan - dvs. det IKKE er lavet af plastic i modsætning af almindelig cellofan. Vi forhandler deres Cellofan i metermål og Cellofanposer som er lavet af cellulose (regenereret cellulosehydrat) som udvindes fra naturlige træfibre. Det er et bionedbrydeligt naturmateriale og er derfor ikke et plastikprodukt fremstillet af råolie.

Carbon Footprint 

Naturally we try to ensure we have as low a carbon footprint as possible. We source the majority of our products from UK suppliers who source their raw materials mainly from the UK or EU. No materials are imported from outside the EU and we do our best to avoid having materials shipped by air. Some of our deliveries are handled through a carbon neutral supplier DPD Local. We also purchase all our energy from 100% renewable, non nuclear energy supplier Good Energy.

Where all staff are free from harassment or discrimination on the grounds of gender, race, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, nationality etc. We strive to achieve this by actively encouraging a policy of well being, honesty, tolerance, friendship, kindness and along with bit of laughter.

As part of our social remit we are happy to to confirm that we do not have have any pay differences based on gender and pay all our employees in line with the national living wage (and had done long before it became compulsory).

Fair treatment - Suppliers

As a UK manufacturer our material and service suppliers are seen as long term partners, essential to the continued growth of the environmental and sustainable products we supply. As such we operate a fair price and prompt payment policy to maintain a healthy and viable supply chain.

It is essential to us that, wherever possible we source our materials, products and services from like-minded ethically aware, socially responsible and sustainable suppliers. So not only do we take great care to ensure the environmental credentials of our products but also the ecological and ethical standing and social responsibility of the suppliers as well. To maintain these high standards this is a continual and ongoing assessment.

To achieve a low carbon footprint we endeavour to source as much of our materials, products and services as locally as possible, so we only purchase from UK or EU suppliers. This not only keeps down the distance products are transported but also ensures that our suppliers adhere to all the latest relevant UK & EU environmental and employment standards. Including fair treatment for their employees as well.
